We have a few things on the horizon that I want to remind you about...so here comes an update!
- This Wednesday is "See You at the Pole". I'd like to encourage you to join students from your school in a time of prayer at the flagpole tomorrow morning. This is a powerful time, and tomorrow night I'd love to hear stories of how it went for you. We will be concluding our "Get in the Game" series, and you don't wanna miss it. Some of you have asked to see my Olympic Training Video from week one, so here you go...

- This Sunday evening we will be having a combined "ManTime" and "TeaTime" (thats "ManTea" for all of you) event here at the church. In honor of our Olympic Message Series, we will be getting together to watch the best Olympic movie EVER...Cool Runnings. If you haven't seen it, you need to, and if you have, you know it's gonna be tons of fun. Come and join in from 6:00-8:00 in the church fellowship hall.
- Next Wednesday night, October 1st, we are hosting our second-ever "Flick Night". Grab some postcards and invite people at school. We'll be watching another award-winning short film "The Least of These". We'll have snacks in the foyer before the movie starts. It all gets underway at 6:30pm.
- We're also gearing up for this year's Fall Retreat. I am really excited about this event, and want to encourage you all to do your best to be there this year. This year, the retreat is themed "Character Welcome". We're returning to Covenant Park Bible Camp, and we're staying an extra day...bonus! You can download a registration form here, or check on the forms page. As I announced last week, you can win a free trip in our drawing simply by coming to Momentum between now and the Fall Retreat. For every week you attend, you will receive an entry into our drawing, and in the end, one guy and one girl will get to go for FREE. Sweetness. I do have some limited scholarship funds available, so if money is problem, talk to me in the next two weeks and we can try and help you go.
